Our Story

Founded with Purpose in 2018

ROANA Training and Consulting was born from a deep frustration with the disconnect between traditional education and the real needs of South Africa’s job market.

We saw talented young people — especially from disadvantaged backgrounds — leaving formal education without the practical skills employers actually want. We decided to change that.

Our Journey & Milestones

2018

ROANA Training and Consulting is officially established as a 100% black female-owned entity.

2019–2020

First learnership cohorts launched with SASSETA and CATHSSETA accreditation.

2021

Expanded into hybrid and online delivery — supporting learners during COVID-19 restrictions.

2023–2024

Achieved additional SETA accreditations (EWSETA, AGRISETA) and grew corporate training footprint.

2025–Present

Continuing to scale quality learnerships, leadership programmes, and occupation-based training aligned with QCTO occupational qualifications.
